"Why the Face?!" - our Aug/Sept 2011 TR! (updated 11/28 Last Day - MK)

That's good to know about the wine pairing. We may share. We normally share a bottle, & that about maxes us out.

We're also going to California Grill & Le Cellier. It sounds like we have similar taste in restaurants. I hope you get to go again soon. :)

Fun! Have you been to either of those before? Both of those are fantastic, in different ways. I love that Disney has so many restaurants which really offer above-par food and service.

How long until your trip?

PS - love your quote "Proud Redhead" :thumbsup2 Hubby and I are both redheads too.

We've been to LC several times, but it's been a long time. It was on a decline, so we finally stopped going. We thought it was time to give it another try. We haven't been to CG. I'm acrophobic, & have been afraid to try it. After hearing it was closing for awhile, I booked it anyway. I don't want it to disappear & not experience it. I'll just ask for a table away from the windows. The wine room sounds like a better fit for us anyway, if they'll let us wait for a table. We prefer a quieter dining experience.

We go again the first of May. We live an hour away, so we take long weekend trips every few months.

I'm guessing my redhead status is different from years. Mine was give by the tag fairy for being a Universal Orlando fan. Many people call UO the red headed step child of WDW. :p I do have a red undertone, but my hair is blond. It has random red streaks, especially in the summer. My dad & most of his siblings were redheads.

I'm glad you're giving California Grill a try! The wine room is absolutely fantastic - we've been twice, and our first time we were seated in the wine room by luck. The second time we were there we requested the wine room when we got there, and they let us wait until a table opened up, they didn't have any problem with that. The food there is delicious :thumbsup2
