I have a hotel room booked at Anaheim Plaza Hotel for 72.00 per night for when we're going. Add in the cost of tickets for the 5 of us during the everyone pays kids rate, and the cost for our 3 night/3 day trip is $861 (plus tax, etc.)
I've been "playing" with the AAA site recently, since I'm a fairly new AAA member. They claim that they're applying the same promo for tickets, but the total cost of the packages they're quoting is 1097, no matter which hotel I'm looking at.
Why in the world would AAA be more expensive for the very same thing??? I thought I was going to be saving money with it!

Nope! Booking directly through the hotel itself often saves quite a bit! Not only that, but AAA probably puts a price (not literally) on the few extra perks they give, lanyards, Toontown Morning Madness, etc.

Or they are just not applying the promo. If you don't apply the kids promo, does your original total come out to 1097?

Plus I think they are probably including all taxes! Maybe they are adding 4 day tickets for a 3 night package!

Oddly enough, no! If I purchased the adult tickets at regular price, I'm looking at 1021, not 1097! Go figure. I'll just use the AAA for other discounts!!!

I think that $80 difference from 1097 down to 1021 is the $70 of hotel taxes???

Nevermind, they should only be about $40. That is strange!
