Why the difference this year?

Lat year I booked as soon as possible HRH for Aug. 01, booked long before hotel was open. I got a confirmation letter within 2 weeks, with deposit I had paid plus balance due listed. Letter said to pay balance 4 weeks before arrival. I liked this, I like to be paid in full when I go. This year booked RP had to call 4 times to finally get a fax confirmation 3 months after booking. Shows total due, does not list balance paid, credid card was charged and says nothing of balance due. I am trying to find out my balance, after 3 calls to different numbers I was told I have to call hotel accounting. All I get there is an answering machine. Does anybody have a better plan of action for me?

I'm not sure why the policy was changed, I'm with you , I would rather be paid in full before I get there, this way I had more $$$$ for shopping & spending !
Keep trying the accounting # untill you get someone live & then , make sure they know EXACTLY what you are looking to be done. I was such a pain in the *** the girl knew me when I gave my name. I called EVERYDAY. keep trying is all I can reccomend.

I too had many issues trying to pay my RP bill off for my August trip. I called 407-503-9474 and left a message for Damian. He phone me back and faxed me a form to fill out. I had to fill out the form and fax it, along with a copy of my credit card. Within 5 business days I received an e-mail confirmation stating I was paid in full.

It was a lot of trouble to pay a bill - you would think they don't want your money.

I took your advice and called Damian yesterday, left my fax#, res. #, and told him what I wanted to do. I now have the fax in my hands to do what I want. Thanks again!
