Why Shouldn't I Choose Candy Cane Inn?

But wanted to comment on the below comments regarding CCI:

We do not consider the CCI to be walking distance at the end of the day with little ones. Everyone's standards are different, but it is not walking distance for everyone. Likewise, while CCI's pool is "basic" it is nicer than a number of the local pools and if we were pool people it would be a consideration for us.

I'll agree with you that's it's a hike after a long day. :)

(& that we all have different standards)

I only posted because i didn't want folks to assume that one HAD to take the shuttle from/to CCI. To me the walk is very similar to the HOJO or Paradise Pier Walk to the turnstiles. (i want to think that Disney Dreams posted the actual mileage on this). For me, they're all about 10 min. (give or take).

I particularly like the CCI shuttle for the mid day break (coming & going) & normally walk it at the beginning & (even sometimes at the) end of the day.....but we're all different. :)

note - I've carried an 8 y/o over my shoulders before to the Fairfield (next to Hojos) & when he was 9 y/o over my shoulders to the PP......so i understand & agree that end of the night transportation planning is of importance. :thumbsup2
