We're doing deluxe dining and I keep hearing great things about Kona cafe and I'm wondering if I should try it.

I have had breakfast and dinner at Kona. It's an excellent pick for either. The bread at dinner is so good. ADR's are a must though because it can get very crowded.

Hands down, Kona is my favorite restaurant in all of WDW. And I've eaten at Cali Grill, Chefs de France, Jiko, Boma, Flying Fish, Spoodles, Le Cellier, Citricos, and many others. I love, love, love it, for both dinner and breakfast.

Dinner fave is the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. But the coconut chicken is great, too, as is the sirloin. For apps, the chicken wings are to DIE for, and the desserts are amazing as well.

Did I convince you? ;)

We really enjoy Kona Cafe for dinner. Love the atmosphere at the Poly and it's nice to get away from the hussle and bussle of the parks and have a great meal.
Service and food were both very good, we both had steaks and some really yummy deserts. Don't forget to order the Kona Presspot- the best coffee in WDW!

breakfast at kona's is delicious! you can get smoothies instead of regular soda and juice with the dining plan there which was nice too :)

YOU definitely should try both. You will not be dissapointed. I have been to every top tier restaurant in disney, and this is one of the best. TONGA Toast! amazing!!!!!!!!!! dinners are great!!! and ask your server for the ohanas desert if you have never had it, or if you have and love it. Great restaurant, the poly doesnt dissapoint.

See I have always wanted to try Kona..The tonga toast sounds to die for..We normally do Ohana which is a family fave so I have a hard time giving that up..but I so want to try the sticky wings and the chocolate torte at Kona! OH and of course the Tonga Toast

ok, sorry if this is a stupid question, but do you need to made reservations for Breakfast at Kona?

Does anyone know what time in the am they start seating folks?:surfweb:

Mmmm, sounds delicious.

Does anyone know if there is a kid's breakfast menu? Doesn't show one at allears.net:confused3

Yes, I would make ADR's for any TS meal nomatter if its Bfst, lunch or dinner!

I want to try dinner, but all my dinners are already taken so I may have to do bfst or lunch!

Nevermind on the kid's menu......FOUND IT!!!!!!!! It looks yummy, too;)

We LOVE Kona :goodvibes We've been twice for dinner and will definitely be going back :cool1: :cool1: The filet and prime rib are AWESOME:thumbsup2 You won't be disappointed:yay: We are going to try breakfast on our next trip in December.

Because it's far better than La Cellier. We've abondend LC for Kona Cafe dinner, it's fantastic.

Kona is my favorite restaurant hands down.

When the Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi-Mahi was on the menu, I used to dream about it in my sleep.:goodvibes

Now that it's gone I'll have to try some of their other dishes.

It's one of my "top three" TS restaurants at WDW. Consistently excellent food, not too noisy, great service. (BTW, my other two favorites are Le Cellier and California Grill.)

With the recent menu changes at Le Cellier I just might switch my ADR to Kona!

you should change your adr. You will not be dissapointed at Kona. In answer to an earlier question...You can sit at Kona without an adr if you get there at open, or closer to close. Otherwise...look for adr"s. wow... so jealous.
