Why oh why do they advertise a toy that isn't available until Jan.

My boys have seen the commercial for the Ben 10 Legos that are coming out. They want them for Christmas. Still believe in Santa(4 and 7) But they are not being released until after January. SO WHY ADVERTISE them before Christmas?

Ok rant over. Really a minor shopping crisis. But still why???
