Why no "search"?

Anyone know why you can't use the search feature on this Board?

It is very touchy. I tried to search "Country inn and suites", just "Country", "Doubletree", and "Doubletree castle.

I kept getting an error message for the country searches and the "doubletree" search came right up. When I searched for doubletree castle it gave me an error first and then when I searched again it gave me some matches.

I hate the search function on this board.

If the traffic to the site is high, sometimes search will be disabled to allow faster running speeds of the board. At least this is how I understand it.
