Why No Search Function???

I'm sure this has been explained before, but I missed it! Why can we longer use the "Search" function? Many times, there've been older posts I want to refer to and no longer can. Is it going to be re-enabled anytime soon?

The boards were going down a lot and acting really slow, I guess because of resources issues. They took it down so that we could use everything else. Evidently it will come back some time, but I'm not sure if anyone knows for sure.
