If I am not mistaken, is OKW the only DVC resort without mobile order and why? I know that the window at Goods is small and if there is alot of people trying to pick up at the same time it might not be good for social distance but they could have figured out something by now. Most of my stays are at OKW and it seems unfair to leave out only this resort. I know that you can mobile order for take out at Olivia's but sometimes you just cant afford that kind of take out.

Olivia's is doing take-out again? It's been years since ordering take out at Olivia's, even in person, was possible.

I guess you cant know everything but, yes there is mobile order for Olivia's. Just go to MDE and look at dining options for OKW. Its right there.

Umm, we ordered take out in June of 2019 from Olivia's, no issues at all, of course we just wanted a couple sides of Olivia's Potatoes. But right now most table service restaurants at the resorts are offering take out and mobile order at that.

Yes all that is true but I am just ranting about the fact that Goods To Go at OKW does not have mobile order. It would be nice if they started it.

Maybr Mobile Ordering is the way to go..
It would be great if they would expand Goods to Go. That whole area is cramped.
Maybe take part of the Community Hall(most times it's empty).
Pre COVID you'd place your order , step back and wait ,then try to get your drink and your order .
It was like a mob at the mall on black Friday. People pushing to either place an order or pick up one.

I agree the area around Good's To Go is too cramped for effective social distancing to make mobile ordering viable there. They could, however, do it if they'd set up an area only for mobile pickup. It would likely require at least some additional employees, a runner to bring the food from the prep area, an employee to supervise pick-up, and an extra prep person or two to keep up the flow of orders, in an already cramped space. Plus some way to keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold, while not impeding/bottlenecking an area during the pandemic. But would it be worth the cost long term? Let's say they did do this, Olivia's outdoor patio seating area would be a good location, but would still require some modification for efficient access, pouring new concrete, removing part of a fence. Then running power for refrigerators and warming equipment. This would also remove some seating from a popular restaurant, all for a pandemic where we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel as vaccines become more widely available...though it would still probably be useful for the next 9 or 10 months.

I'm guessing that is a cost that Disney does not want to simply absorb given their current position. Especially given it is relatively easy to just use the current location with social distancing markers, which limits the number of people in the area, and gives staff time to better prepare orders between guests.
