Why is the wait sooooo long???

I booked my DLR vacation 6 months out.........longest wait i've ever had... ....i'm down to day 15 [Fri will be 14] and it feels like it's not going any farther!!!!!!! I'm soooo close and yet soooo far!!!! I'm obsessed with the Dis.....i've already pre-packed everything in my head......ADR's are long since made......Fantasmic Buffet is booked.......Travel packet arrived.......Crocs and Bagallini bag are already to go......pins are packed......and now??? I wait.......yeah......some more.......i've already been doing it 6 months.....i'm tired of waiting!!!!!

I completely know what you mean. We've been planning our October trip for over a year now. This trip next month I kind of did last minute (a month out). I think I planned this trip because I got tired of waiting for October to come! And even though I only have 5 days to go, it's taking FOREVER! The minutes are just crawling by. I can't take it anymore!

I will be there on the 18th and it feels like forever. My wife says I have OCD or at least some "issues" about planning out our DLR vacation. I feel like everythings been done that I can think of and now the wait is driving me crazy.

I was in your shoes last year, booked early long wait, packed over and over again in my mind. We didn't even tell our kids about the trip, I was an emotional wreck, wanted to spill the beans, wanted to plan with them but I planned it all on my own. I was on this site more then once a day, I could even hear my sister in law screaming on some of the rides. It does get better! All of the planning will be well worth it. My husband was thrilled with our last trip and the kids, oh my gosh, in shock for 24 hours before they figured out where we were!
