Why is the DIS loading so slowly?

Is anyone else having problems with the boards? Or, is it just my computer?

It is taking 2 - 5 minutes for the screen to load. I have to click and then walk away and come back after it loads.

It has been horrible for me for the past couple of weeks. Drives me crazy! It seems to go through slow spells like this. Don't know why.

I don't know but it is driving me nuts. I especially have problems using the form jump button on the bottom to take you back to the main page (for the Community Board, etc.). It has been like this for a couple days. Every other website I visit is fine so know it is this board.

I would say years. Quickness here has been a spotty attribute for as long as I can recall.

I have noticed it being extremely slow these past couple of weeks...slower than the normal slow, it seems to me.

And I know it's not my computer because other websites that I go (similar to the DIS) to are zipping right along.

Whew!!

I thought it was just me. I clisk in a text box, wait 5 seconds for cursor to move. I click on the "Search" button and literally watch it unfold one cm at a time for 3-4 sconds before the box is actually open. I just clicked on the post message button, went to another tab, loaded disney blog site, then another tab loaded disney food blog, then came back and waited 10-20 seconds for the message to finish posting

Fell like I am back on a dialup modem
