Why is Spiderman: Homecoming not an option for points?

I saved my movie tix from the new Spiderman movie to scan into Disney Movie Rewards, but it is not an option to earn points. I figured since it is a Marvel movie that it would be eligible to earn points from the tix. Anybody know why it isn't listed as an option for uploading tickets?

Can it be because it's a Sony and Marvel co-production? Not owned 100% by Marvel/Disney?

Yep. Sony owns the distribution rights (box office), but Disney owns the merchandise licenses (toys and other products).
