Why is Soarin' so popular?

We saw it for the first time in DL 3 years ago. We almost didn't go on but it had a really short line and we figured what the heck. My son absolutely loved it. I think it's great but we go on it for my son.

What would be a great idea for WDW to do is to adapt Soarin's scenery like they did with Tower of Terror and have random scenery each time!
It would be a lot of fun to change it up but I do love the orange scent they use when your going over the groves!

This is one of my favorite WDW rides. Might be my VERY favorite, actually. It feels so quintessentially Disney. It's one of those rides when, after I ride it, I say - wow they really got that one right. I agree that there should be misters for the ocean scene, but otherwise it's about as close to a perfect attraction that Disney has designed. And the score is nothing short of brilliant.

I love that it's a totally different kind of ride and experience than anything else I've ever been on anywhere. Plus it's a smooth ride and in the AC. I agree though that they should branch out and add some other states or attractions to the ride, like Florida or the Grand Canyon.

We love Soarin' at the California Adventure! It's one of our favorite attractions! However, if it is the exact same ride at WDW, then we will probably skip it, especially if there are long lines. There will be too many other things for us to do.

The first time I love it, it was something new and beautiful, second time no so much... but I think is one of those rides that should try at least once!

I have been on Soarin dozens of times and I still love the ride. The line at California Adventure is alway's much shorter than the crazy long line at WDW. Why do I always sit next to a guy who eats an orange?

We love Soarin'. Youngest DS was thrilled when he was finally tall enough to ride.

My boys also like the fact that in 2008 we visited some of the places shown. They get a kick out of that.

Reason why I love Soarin'?

To take my 4 yr old on it and shortly after take-off hearing him say "WOW! This is awesome."
