Why is my computer beeping at me?

Why is my computer beeping at me? It's plugged in and fully charged. It's not giving me any pop ups or error messages.

This is the beeping it usually gives if the battery is low.

It could maybe be like my cell phone and say it's fully charged but really be running low on battery? I'm not sure .......

It was weird because it was beeping every 3 minutes...even AFTER I turned the computer completely OFF.

It's not doing it now.

Maybe it was just trying to drive me insane.

Possibly an overheating condition alarm??

Couple of things I've learned with this laptop:

the plug from the wall to the power converter has to be in all the way or it won't charge.

DH will shut off the outlet that it's plug in to and it won't charge.

The hard drive is dying.

I'd say it's one of the first two.

OK, now this is really embarrassing, especially considering the whining I just did in this thread.

It turns out it wasn't the computer; it was my cell phone. I discovered this when I went to get my phone to go to church, and it was OFF. I never turn it off. I turned it on, and it beeped exactly the way I thought the computer had been beeping.

Which is a good thing, because I have two doorstop laptops already, and really don't need a third one.

Too funny about the cell phone! One time one of our smoke alarms was doing the low battery beeping, late at night of course. It was driving my DH and I crazy, trying to figure out which one since we have them all over the house (in all bedrooms, in the basement, in the main level, in the upstairs hallway), plus carbon monoxide. We were walking around for ages trying to figure it out before we finally figured out that it was our son's cell phone that had a low battery. Our cell phones just simply beep and turn off, but his keeps beeping and beeping.... very annoying. I guess like yours!
