Why is Little Miss Matched Closing?

So bummed just read the store is now closed.. Anyone know why and if the whole business is closing? Website is still open.. my DD and I looooved and loooooved this store.. This was our DS tradition... So sad.. they had really cool stuff for girls. and moms.. I love their socks.. something different.

I'd guess it didn't turn much of a profit or wasn't popular enough. Maybe the company is filing for bankruptcy

THIS ! It was a great novelty..and now is not. Most retail runs this course sooner or later.

My DD liked it when she was 10 and in that phase. Now she’s moved on.

I had read that the company that bought the brand a few years ago was taking it in a different direction. Nothing to do specifically with sales or anything at the WDW location, but just changing how they did business.

No. The current World of Disney is closed for extensive renovations. It isn’t moving.

Don't recall saying anything about the World of Disney. I said a Disney store, i.e. a Store that is owned and operated by Disney like the rest of that section of Disney Springs.

I don't suspect that to be the reason. It appears to me that Disney has been going to great lengths to diversify it's offerings at Disney Springs, and bring in many non-Disney retailers as a way of drawing guests away from the other nearby shopping outlets. My guess is that this would be something more to do with that particular retailer.

I think the company has been closing their stores all over. There had been one at Mall of America in Minnesota, but it’s no longer there.
