Why is it when a poster leaves a thread....

saying I am done, my dog just died or going back to my dying sibling/child/parent etc etc...

It depends, sometimes the drama of which they type has something to do with the thread, in which case it makes sense to say I have all these problems and you jerks are just making it worse so I'm out of here. Otherwise it just seems silly. I usually just stop posting on a thread and force myself not to click on it again.

Sometimes, I think we have posters as crazy as that woman who ran off with her kid to WDW and called 911 several times beforehand to say they had been kidnapped.

People just post a thread here instead of calling 911, with their version of a "kidnapping" story.
