Why is it cheaper????

Hv just been playing with our dates and hv found it £100 cheaper to book flight and hotel for 16 nights than it is for FO!!!!! Beginning to think may book this . Is it ok not to use the hotel part? Or should we check in to keep the room as we do need somewhere for only 3 nights when doin universal?

No problem booking a package and not using hotel. Probably best to call in the hotel and tell them rather than not turning up.
Package might be cheaper now(double check all costs & fees) but still chance of a flight only deal showing, you would be tied to the package if you paid deposit.

A seat on a flight is much easier to sell than a package holiday - therefore it can sometimes be cheaper if they've got a deal with a hotel to fill a certain number of rooms as there's fewer potential takers for a package deal than for a flight.

Just don't check in (but call/email).

Hi I have been finding this aswell & thought about doing the same thing booking & not using the hotel for the whole if our stay as we have already booked SSR for the 15nights for the Disney part but still would like 3 nights universal and 2 seaworld and shopping/international drive so we could use the few nights we wanted and then let them know we won't be using the room after that! ( still want 1 or 2 nights at A universal hotel for the early entry) I've decided to pay off the SSR side atthe moment & then save and get the flights last minute if we have to change the date by a day or 2 so be it, what with Xmas now out the way & no kids birthdays until may I can actually go back to paying it off lol
