Why is IOA a better bet on the weekends?

I was having a look at the Undercover Tourist crowd calendar, and it looks like Sat/Sun are often "green" at Islands of Adventure, often the only green days in the week. (We are going in the latter half of August, but I also looked at this month for comparison.) Why??

If I understand it, I'll be more inclined to trust the prediction! Or do you think the "green weekend" is a myth?

I do not know 100% for sure, but typically any and all theme parks are busier on the weekends. I think some of the more lighter days would be Monday - Wednesday and even Thursday as long as there is no holiday on those days

I went on a Sunday in September and was surprised how quite it was. So it does seem that Sunday is a good day to go!

Mondays are busy. Tues-Thurs are good as well as Sundays.
