Why is Feb 10-12 a blackout date with the new BDP code?

I got the AP discount at WL every night of my stay, February 6-13th. I've heard it's available at some resorts and not others, but I have no idea why.

I think that is the weekend of the Daytona 500 and there is overflow to Disney.

I got all of my nights at WL woodsview for Feb 5-12. YIPPEE!! I used AP rate.

We got all of our nights Feb2-3 @Asmo and 4-12 @BCV for the AP rate.

It may not be a blackout date at all. Disney limits so many rooms to so many codes. It's just like airline seats - the person next to you may have paid $100 more than you. I would keep trying back or try though a travel agent. They may be able to get you a better rate too.
