access to the concierge lounge and the sunrise safari.

it's as much an issue of supply as demand, though: there are only 5 lockoffs on concierge level so only a few can book them at any given time.

Free snacks in the Concierge Lounge and discounts on certain 'safari' tours.

We booked one night at the AKV concierge for the day we were getting off our Disney cruise. We wanted to do the Sunrise Safari at some point, and this would give us the opportunity.

I also knew that when we got off the ship that we would be tired and would not want to hit the parks and would want to rest. Chances of being able to check into a room immediately was highly unlikely and we would really want a place to crash. So we figured the concierge lounge with free food and drink would be a great place to chill out and rest until the room was ready.

Amazingly, when we got to AKV, around 10-10:30 or so, the villa was ready within 30 minutes. We still enjoyed the lounge, but it was wonderful that the room was ready so quickly, and I doubt that would have happened in a non-concierge room.

Because once you start you can't get enought JMHO

There are only five two bedroom lockoffs available. Three with savanna views and two with pool views. At least one is handicap accessible.

There are only five 2BR lock-offs as mentioned and its the only DVC resort with concierge units. So, if the AKV owners haven't booked them all up for the year by some chance, other DVC resort owners certainly will once they hit the 7 month mark.
