Why is CM's breakfast better than others?

We've got PS's ADR's (whatever you wanna call 'em ;) ) for CM's this Monday. We've had Ohanas and CMC for breakfast before and loved them. A lot of people say about CM so we thought we'd check it out. Is there something different we should check out or IYO what makes CM special?

OK I'll rain on your parade :umbrella: We hated CM. The food was really awful. And we definatly had an off day with the characters... they hardly stood there long enough for a photo.- and we had kids all on the outside of the table as instructed so as not to take too long.

I agree, the food ain't all that, but I've found that all 3 times I've gone, there's plenty of characters to interact with, and they made themselves VERY accessible. Plus, you get some of the most requested characters most of the time. I think 'Ohana has better food, though.

I don't have my heart set or anything..we just wanted to do something different and a lot people always post about CM. At the very least we'll be on the monorail and can pool hop to the POLY.

To me CM has more to offer. Where as the others just seem to offer Scrambled eggs. bacon, sausage, potatoes, and fruit.

Chef Mickey's Egg and Sausage Roulade
Scrambled Eggs
Corn Beef Hash
Frittata

Breakfast Potatoes
Bacon and Sausage

OK, at first I thought you meant Cape May, but you're talking about Chef Mickey??? We like Chef Mickey and think it's better than Cape May. We've never done O'hana's. I think Chef Mickey has more choices than Cape May and it's better food. As far as good character meals go, you might want to try 1900 Park Fair. We had dinner there in October and it was delicious. We're planning on breakfast there in November since we've heard equally good things about it.

The thing about Chef Mickey's also, is that it's "fun". They sing and wave their napkins in the air. I think it's lots of fun for the kids and the food is one of the better buffets. You at least have to eat there once just for the experience.

Thanks for posting! I am sure we'll like it. We love Cape May Cafe so I am sure it's equal if not better. Thanks for posting the menu, too!

Nope we ate there Sunday and the only cereal they had was fruit loops and frosted flakes in the other cereal cointainers they had M&M's We asked for cheerioes and were told they don't have them. There was oatmeal. No egg and sausage Roulade it was just a scramble. They did have cherry cheese blintzes which were good. And as far as baked delights.... um they had chocolate croissants. Oh they did have bagels and lox(although I am from NY and very bagel critical- these were lenders) No bread pudding either they did have apple crisp-

I agree that the posted menu is an "approximate" of what they might have at any given time. This is true for all of the buffets. There were many things on the Boma menu that were not on the buffet when we showed up. The rotate items each day/week so it's never quite the same.
