I have 3 reservations at the crystal palace because I was unable to book 1900 park fare or Chef Mickey's. These reservations are tough to get! (Unless I want to go to cm at 7am, which is way too early for us).

I suggest anyone wanting to go to book waaaaayyy in advance. My trip is in 2 months!

:)

Are you trying for breakfast or dinner? We always make our Chef Mickey's breakfast ADRs right at the 180 day mark. I don't think you need to call right at 7 a.m., though, unless you have a large party or a specific time.

We love CM's. I think the breakfast is awesome and love the atmosphere.

Hope you get your ADRs!

I didn't have any trouble getting ours but I did book at 180 days.

I didn't have trouble getting mine..I guess I was lucky...I booked about 80 days out!

I think it is a tough one because it is one of the few with mickey? just a thought?

Keep trying back though there are always cancelations!

good luck!

I was JUST going to make a post about this. We are just two adults.

Are they remodeling or something during our trip in May?

I'm having a HELL of a time. And I called weeks ago. First, I took a 9PM on our second night (which would of really twisted our schedule) because it was the ONLY time available our whole 4 day trip. Everything else was booked. Kept calling day after day and nothing else.

Than yesterday morning called about 7:40 am because I was up early for internship. One 5:30PM opened up the night we are going to PPP and I snatched it and canceled the other one. Still not exactly what we wanted but still works out MUCH better. Still hoping either a 5PM opens up on May 9th or something late morning on May 12th when we leave.

I was able to book CM just this week for our June trip although we are eating at 7:30. Got to get out of there for rope drop.

We tried to book CM for June in Jan/early Feb and I had no luck unless I wanted really early or really late. I think it is possible that the closing of Concourse Steakhouse has something to do with it. We tried for that one when CM was full because we basically wanted one of the monorail resorts and was told that it was closing in May.

Next time I would suggest making reservations for character dining wayyy ahead. I did as soon as I booked my trip. Which was about 6 or 7 months ahead. Just to be certain that I would get the day I wanted. The one time we tried booking 3 months ahead, it was harder to get good reservations. Never made that mistake again. Haha.

Keep trying for a cancellation. Thanks for the heads up. I am also told that table size has something to do with it. Tables for 2 are fewer and are harder to get. We wanted to do CRT on night of MVMCP a few years ago and after trying and trying for a table for 2, I asked what about a table for 4 and had my choice of several times. I booked it and posted a note on a Disney board asking if another couple would like to share our table. Someone replied and we had a great time. I am not sure how many are in your party.

Character dining at Chef Mickey's is among the best.

I've been there and I don't think it's any better than the rest - the food is definitely worse than any of the others. I just don't want to be stuck with cp for 3 meals, which is what I have now.

I booked last November for our 10:30AM breakfast yesterday at CM's.:confused3

Here's DW and DS2 with Minnie:

I tried about 95 days out and were out of luck! we weren't even picky on the times...we were told because there is 3 of us its harder for reservations cause they won't break up a 4 seated reservation for 3 people most of the time!!

We called last month and were looking to book ressies for 9:30am April 26th (so around 70 days out) they didn't have 9:30, but had 8AM, 10:30AM or 11:30AM. We took the 10:30AM....guess were just lucky. I'll remember that the next time, and not just expect to get in on the day I want!

We're running into problems booking Chef Mickey's for breakfast in May as well. We are also a party of 3 and booked it at 180 days out no problem, but last weekend we added an extra day/night to our trip and wanted to change things around. We were told that it's booked for breakfast that entire week. We'll be there the 5/14-5/23. It is odd to me because we usually book CM at 2 months out anyway, but maybe it does have something to do with Concourse being closed so extra people are going to CM? Just a guess, anyway. :confused3
Hope it works out for everyone looking for an ADR! :wizard: We're just keeping what we have, even though it messed up our schedule.

The food is good, it is a very kid friendly atmosphere and their are Characters!!!!
