And yes our family of 4 take 9 bags for a week.

• Daughter; 1 checked, 1 carry on
• Grand Daughter; 1 checked, 1 carry on
• Me; 1 checked, 1 carry on
• We also take a checked piece we fill with food on the way down and souvenirs on the way back

Now with ME both way we might add another

Just to clarify, SW has always been part of ME. ME is the part that gets you to the resort. SW is just becoming part of RAC at the resorts, that is the part that gets you back to the airport.

I love southwest too, their rates went down a bit today - so we booked 6 of us to leave on April 27th!!!

even you need 2 bags?!?! DB is coming with us this year & asked if I had room in my bag for his toothbrush! "what else do I need?"

so the only problem that I have with Southwest is that they post there flight times a little later than others so its a little harder to book.

The reason I love SW is because my stupid mistake didn't cost me alot of $$$. On Feb 4 2010 I went online to book our return airfare for Mar 4 2010 , Well apparently I didn't look closely at the dates and ended up booking our return tickets for that very day Feb 4 !!! Two weeks later I look at the confirmation I printed out and noticed my mistake. OMG!!!I called SW in tears ,(this was the first time I've ever flown /purchased airline tickets), so I thought I would be out $589.00 . When I told the lady what happened she said "yep you missed your flight, That's OK well just switch your date to when you want it, since you didn't take the flight you have a credit" We ended up having to stay an extra day in Florida to get the same price airfare as I originally purchased but that was OK with us. My mistake didn't cost us any extra in airfare, just a $99 hotel...not bad. If I had booked with any other airline I would have been out alot of money. Another reason ...no baggage fees , We have a family of 6 and that's alot of luggage . Especially with 5 of the 6 being girlsOh and I almost forgot on our flight to florida we had to wait on the tarmak for an hour(traffic jam) so because of that they gave us five $75.00 LUV vouchers

We used RAC at Coronado Springs and SWA for our early May return trip, and it worked fine without any difficulties.
