"Mom, I'll never leave you"! Totally out of nowhere :cloud9:

and "Mom, you're beautiful" without even asking (I was in my pj's wearing my grandma's old robe, BTW).

He's two years old and already knows how to work me!

ETA- Forgot to mention how he wakes me up every morning: a kiss on the hair and I love you, followed by a hug on my face and "good morning mama" I hate mornings but who wouldn't want to wake up to that?

Awww! He's a keeper. ;)

Little boys and their mommies are one of the most precious things in the world.

Yeah, I figure I'll keep him at home for another 38 years or so then send him out to find a wife and get some grandbabies. :teeth:

mine recently said "mom marry me", i said "i can't honey i'm already married to daddy"-his reply "aw ditch him and marry me-he can marry sis". :teeth:

hehe, how cute.

My "little man" is now 15 and about 5'11", but he's still almost as sweet as when he was truly little.

I have two DDs. Don't know what it is like to raise a son. But my brother has two sets of twins. One of the sets is a girl and a boy. My nephew Dennis, who is 3 is what I would describe as a surfer dude. Blonde hair, tanned (at least in the summer he is) and a huge grin which will really attract the girls when he is older. Any way my story about Dennis.

This past Thanksgiving we were all at my brothers house. Dennis's twin, Evelyn told me she wanted to be a princess when she grows up. I asked what princess she wanted to be and she replyed, Cinderella. I asked her if I could be a princess and she she said I could be Snow White. She then told me she was going to marry a prince. I asked if I could have a prince too. She said, no she doesn't have a magic wand to make one for me.

Without skipping a beat Dennis with his huge grin says, don't worry you can marry me. My heart melted. He is such a cutey.

I think I could type pages on this!!!

There's just something about the spontaneous " I Love you Mommy" and our tradition of morning Kiss and Hug. And nothing tugs at my heartstrings like watching my snuggle bunny sleep.

I agree my little guy makes my heart melt all the time.

When I had to shave my head during chemo, I was afraid to let my (at the time) 6 yo kids see me bald. When I came home the first day without hair, DS came up to me, asked me to take off my wig, looked at my head and without flinching said "You look beautiful, Mom". :sad1: :sunny:

Yup, he's a keeper. :earsboy:

I have two sweet girls 8 & 10 but oh how I did long for a boy! :teeth: He is everything and more that others would tell me he would be.

Even in the hospital I was totally smitten!

He melts my heart when he takes my face in his hands and through his gritted teeth says, "I love you momma!" :teeth:

Add me to the list of adoring moms. My son constantly tells me I'm beautiful, I'm the best, etc. I always tell dh I don't need him anymore - my son compliments me all the time!! :rotfl2:
What really irritates dh (in a funny way) is when he points out a really hot woman on tv to ds7 and says, "isn't she hot". My baby boy will say, "she's okay, but not as beautiful as mommy!"
I love my girls, but- my boy is definitely my sunshine!!! :sunny:
