While doing some long awaited cleaning and weeding out I discovered I had not developed 7 rolls of film from last June's WDW vacation. (Yes, I'm awful. I feel like Ellery Queen at times.)
Anyways, the film had been shot with my APS camera, my daughter's APS and her little brothers 110. His turned out fine but we found out one of our cameras isn't working right. 3 rolls were wasted. I am so glad I took most of the pictures on the digital. It is the camera I use most often and I seldom touch the other cameras here at home.
I think I will buy more cards for the digital and stick to all digital photos in the future.
(Reminds me of a time a few years back, my middle child was about 5, had a great picture of him with Eeyore taken with my 35MM camera. Got home, it messed up and the photo was lost. Bummer!)
Oh well! Lesson learned!

DBF is a photjournalist and when his company went digital he gave me his Nikon 8008 and TRIED with the patience of Job to teach me how to use it!

I hated it..too many variables and I NEVER knew what I was getting...I took it to WDW with me when I went with 13 members of my family and he couldn't come and I didn't get ONE decent picture.

Now I've got a Nikon Coolpix. It has a lot of variables too, but at least if I mess up, now I can just hit the delete button and take the picture over!!!!:)

I have not taken a film picture in almost three years. Love digital!!!!! :bounce:

For certain really specialized work.. like really low light or fireworks shots or serious telephoto, the digital camera's still can't touch a good 35mm. But for 95% of my photo's I grab the Coolpix

I do love my digital, but the zoom is lousy. The next digital will have a better zoom and connections to a tv. I do bring my film too on vacation so I can show my prints to co-workers and people who don''t have a pc. My 35mm has a great zoom tho.

I love my digital camera too. I need to get a smaller one though to carry with me.

I'm just getting started with digital. There are so many things to get: cards, new printer, photo paper...
I have to get used to the idea that when I push the shutter release there is a delay before it actually snaps the picture!
I'm sure I'll love it when I get the hang of all the menus!
