Why do I like disney so much???
I've only been there once, but I was so impressed by their attention to providing the whole experience. Here's what I have observed in no particualr order:
Cast members can turn invisible until needed
Trash is not allowed to touch the public spaces, it magically disappears
Disney characters don't need last names, even if they do have them
When a new park or experience is planned, ALL ideas are considered
When an idea is made into Disney reality, no detail will be missed
Even though it is a corporation designed to make money, it doesn't act like it
Cast members are there for the guests, their actual jobs seem secondary
As good as every Disney experience is, nothing compared to seeing a child's (or adults) first reaction to seeing Cinderella's castle or Mickey
Disney has now started a yearly gimmick that doesn't seem like a gimmick
Long long ago, we were all infected with Disney magic, which is a good thing
and finally,
Regardless of your age, you can remember Disney growing up. Every adult has no fear of being ridiculed while wearing mickey ears or wanting a picture with Donald. You remember how it made you feel, and the fantasy they created with their stories. Going to Disney World brings back your childhood, fades life's troubles away for your stay, and makes you feel like tinkerbell is hiding somewhere after just sprinkling you with her pixie dust.
Thanks Disney. I'll be back. I'll be bringing my kids for their first time.
