Why do I like disney so much???

I've only been there once, but I was so impressed by their attention to providing the whole experience. Here's what I have observed in no particualr order:

Cast members can turn invisible until needed
Trash is not allowed to touch the public spaces, it magically disappears
Disney characters don't need last names, even if they do have them
When a new park or experience is planned, ALL ideas are considered
When an idea is made into Disney reality, no detail will be missed
Even though it is a corporation designed to make money, it doesn't act like it
Cast members are there for the guests, their actual jobs seem secondary
As good as every Disney experience is, nothing compared to seeing a child's (or adults) first reaction to seeing Cinderella's castle or Mickey
Disney has now started a yearly gimmick that doesn't seem like a gimmick
Long long ago, we were all infected with Disney magic, which is a good thing
and finally,
Regardless of your age, you can remember Disney growing up. Every adult has no fear of being ridiculed while wearing mickey ears or wanting a picture with Donald. You remember how it made you feel, and the fantasy they created with their stories. Going to Disney World brings back your childhood, fades life's troubles away for your stay, and makes you feel like tinkerbell is hiding somewhere after just sprinkling you with her pixie dust.

Thanks Disney. I'll be back. I'll be bringing my kids for their first time.

We've done over 38 visits, at least half of the 10-12 night varieties and we still feel the way you do after one. We keep going back because the magic is real and never fades. I've been reading these boards for years and I've read the negative lately of some, but for us our trips are ideal, we never get our hopes up for anything extra, we know what to expect and our trips are always fullfilled. We've encountered a few minor problems but never anything to take back our magical experiences. We always stay deluxes and never regret the monetary value we've put in, our pleasures and memories have been worth every penny and then some.

No where else has the attributes that Disney has, plus the free transportation on property, we never rented a car nor will because Disney does it all for us with no problems. Its the most relaxing place we can find with everything within arms reach, different levels of accommoditions to fit everyones budget and 4 theme parks plus 2 water parks its all inclusive. Drop your hat and let the fun begin, you're only hindered by your inhibitions or excessive over planning. Let the magic come to you, we never go looking for it or forcing the issue, its there, take it at a leisurely pace and enjoy.

Well said, Pepe! I agree with the excessive overplanning. I am always amazed at the lengths I hear some dissers go to. Don't get me wrong, I did my share of research, and ADR's and park planning-- but I never let it stop me from just going with the flow! (especially when young children are involved)

But when you actually arrive, be ready to go with the flow and don't let your plans interupt your trip. Go with the flow and enjoy yourselves to the utmost. The plans may make some things go smoothely, but in the end it is did you have a great experience with what you DID do.:thumbsup2

Being there is just outstanding for me. If I could have that feeling every day of my life it would be great.

:thumbsup2 And it wouldn't take a big lottery win to get it, either! I think staying deluxe for a year would be around $500,000, all expenses included. So, even a 20-year-old would only need to clear $40 million to spend his or her life at WDW. :rotfl:
