Why 'Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit' is a good move for Universal Orlando

Thanks for sharing. It's a great move and I can't wait for the passholder previews next year. :thumbsup2

I think it is a good idea as well. I don't feel that there is anything wrong with have a not so themed thrill ride in a park full of themed attractions. If you just look at the lines for Hulk and DD, you can see that coasters are very very popular at drawing in the visitors.

For me, there were few rides in Universal that I would ride repeatedly during a vacation. Many I would only do once or twice. This ride is one that looks like you would want to ride a few times each day.

Now, I'll go and read the article. Thanks for posting!

I totally agree the "weenie factor" (man that sounds wrong!) is critical. As much fun as The Simpsons sounds like it will be, the Studios needs a nice visual to attract guests and keep that park from turning into another version of Disneys California Adventure once Harry Potter opens in IOA.

I just think adding an attraction/coaster/whatever instead of closing rides/refurbing and retheming is always going to be a plus for any park.
