Why haven't hard ticket "After Hours" events returned?

Given how the the deluxe resort guest "extra hours" days have been staggered, I was sure we would have seen the return of hard ticket "After Hours" events by now - even at least for the Magic Kingdom, especially with Spring Break season about to descend.

Ay scuttlebutt as to why these haven't come back yet? Seems like staffing concerns should be starting to abate (a least a bit) and we know how much Disney fell in love with selling the parks twice.

We suspect that Disney is having a tough time getting replacements for many of the CMs they laid off and never called back.

Plus, word is getting around, I suspect, that things are tense with all the cutbacks at Disney. "Pay lots more for less and less."

A lot of people who might once have sought work at Disney are rethinking that.

Those parties required lots of CMs I doubt Disney has right now or is likely to get soon.

They did have "After Hours" event for bith Halloween and Christmas. They didn't have the full MNSSHP or MVMCP events, but the "After Hours" were done.

And besides MNSSHP and MVMCP, Disneyland has brought back the more standard types of After Hours events. That makes me think it is more a staffing issue than an intentional business decision.

I personally really enjoyed the After Hours and EMM events because they let us get more done in fewer days on our two trips. I hope the options come back before our next trip.

True. Perhaps those two events brought something to the forefront that is keeping them from bringing back other parties. For example, perhaps it was leaving them short of CMs during the day by having to schedule them for the events. Just a guess.

I would for sure attend one of those. We had EMM booked back in 2020 and covid happened. I was looking forward to it

I would love for them to return. We had Villains scheduled for May 2020, which then turned into MNSSHP for late August 2020, which then turned into MVMCP for November 2020, which then turned into….nothing.
