What's a nerd skirt?

It's using the Disney Nerds designs.

We are trying Boma for the first time this trip - really looking forward to it... Not sure if we are looking forward to actually eating at Boma, or just checking out AKL - or both. LOL

Actually eating at Boma in 2009 turned into renting points to stay there in 2010 to buying DVC at AKL when we came home----> so be prepared!

So this week I have had to re-arrange my dining and let me tell you it was easy peasy. I was able to get everything for the same times. I was so happy.

I booked my parents air-travel, called DVC to add them to my reservation and book their magical express.

I finished an order for my cousin (this is a different one ) her daughter just broke up with her boyfriend and this was a pickme up gift. IT is adult PJ pants and a toystory t-shirt. I must really love her to attempt that applique again. I love it but it takes a long time LOL

Here is the finished project:

I am almost done with the MICKEY SKIRT & SHIRT so be on the look out for pictures after 3pm.

Who wants me to bore you with my list for this weekend. If I get it half done I will be happy.

1. Finish Winking Mickey Tank
2. NASCAR Easy Fits
3. Mickey RACE CAR Easy Fits
4. 2 Big Give Shirts
5. Mickey Race Car Shirt
6. Fix Gs Pants
7. Pack some flat rate boxes to sell (I am still trying to get rid of more scrap boxes)
8. Cut out AK Skirt (another 6 applique skirt)

The PJs came out really nice. You are so patient to do that applique again. Great news that you were able to add everyone to your ADRs. Your trip is coming together so well. You are going to have such a great trip.

D I can cut out a pair and sew easy fits in about 45 minutes. Just sewing takes me about 30 if I am not doing anything else LOL.

SO I feel like I am getting my work done this weekend since I finished the Mickey Outfit and finished a pair of shorts. I would of been further along but I tested a design for a friend.

Today I want to sew the other pair of Easy Fits and get started on the Big Give shirts. There will be no sewing though until bed time or unless I decide to go down now while the house is quiet.

I am having groceries delivered this morning so I will be reorganizing the refrigerator so J can not steal quite so much food LMAO.

Oh and as promised here is the Mickey Skirt. I have to say this is one of my all time favorite outfits I have made.

I LOVE this outfit. The mickey faces look so cute and I really love the red on the skirt. You did an amazing job. I hope C can wear this for lots of upcoming trips.

I made a pair of Easy Fits with pockets for J. I love adding pockets. I need to do some adjustments for the next pair but I love how they came out.

Those are great! Love the Mickey fabric-I've haven't seen that one yet-and the racing checks is perfect with that.

You got a lot more done than I did! I did however get my cutting table, ironing board, and desk I sew on cleaned off so now I hopefully can get started for my May trip.

I was going to try to put an inside pocket on some easy fits. I think I might try to combine the easy fit pattern with the pocket style on the Dortje pant as I have that pattern. That would envolve a side seam on the easy fit but that would be easy. Not sure If I want to just use the Dortje pattern completely. That mock fly still confused me-maybe if I just try it it will make more sense.

I found the fabric on Ebay. It is from 2004. I was able to get 3-4 yards pretty cheaply and loved it LOL.

Okay I have to go and do a test design for a friend and then I am going to try and cut a skirt and work on a couple shirts.

J loves polos and looks adorable in them so keeping that in mind I found a race car at Bows and Clothes but it is more of an Indy Car.

I am also debating maybe putting Doc Hudson on one. I love how the CArs shirt i did for him with LM on the back came out.

I have been productive today. I finished 2 Big Give Shirts and fixed Gs pants.

Now I am going to do a shirt for J and finish cutting out the AK shirt.

Also I am going to do a PIlates workout and head to bed. I will most likely have no time for sewing tomorrow

I am beginning to get to panic mode. I have so many things I want to do and not sure I will have the time. I have decided I need to take an hour each night to get something done.

I did get all the panels on the AK skirt cut out. I am going to try and get a pair of Easy Fits for the boy cut out for when he goes back to school this week. I also need to make a new list since only one thing on mine is pending so I can keep on task.

Today's goal is the Easy Fit Pants and Packing up the BG.
Oh and take pictures of one of Js finished outfits.
