Agreed. For me its much harder to understand why folks would not stay for these night shows. To each their own I guess. The music is great and its all a feast for the eyes/ears at no additional charge, and usually great weather. I'm not in a hurry to get back to 4 walls in a resort room-except maybe when one wall is glass overlooking the MK at BLT of course.

I really WANT to see Illuminations. But it's just a matter of not being able to do it all. Eventually it's the view of the inside of my eyelids that I want. But then we hit rope drop every day and stay for hard ticketed parties, Wishes and MSEP, sometimes Fantasmic. Eventually even I have to admit that I just can't do it all.

It's fireworks, and they're good ones, but it's basically just fireworks and music. Am I jaded? Am I missing something?
) master plan to see both shows in as much of a good setup as I think I can get without spending hours sitting on the sidewalks waiting. Is there something I should be looking or listening for that I've just never taken the time or effort to notice?
The goal of this trip is to do all the things I've not taken the time to do or do properly. I don't want to miss out on the Disney magic of the experience because I'm missing the best part.

. I like it better than Wishes. I'm in awe when the castle becomes a rocket lifting off, and I tear up when I see that clip of Walt projected full "screen" up there talking about "this happy place". That's about 9 minutes 35 seconds into this video
