Why doesn't Disney offer Magical Express from LAX to Anaheim ?

I'm one of the few that likes LAX. :)

The Disney Resort Shuttle services LAX and SNA. They never have offered Magical Express. You'll find that Disneyland and Walt Disney World operate as two separate divisions under the Disney umbrella.

But if you are going from overseas and want to see LA as well?

The percentage of international travellers is probably too low to be interestong to Disney.

And wanting to see LA as well, this gives a logistical problem. As the Resort Shuttle goes to and from the airport, if you would want to see the city before or after your trip, you would have to go back to the airport first.

They do: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/guest-services/transportation/

It’s not free like Disneyworld but it is available.

That's not offered or run by Disney. It's run by CoachUSA (used to be by Grayline) and is a totally separate entity from disney.

Plus the flyers in the know would only fly into LAX as a last resort... LGB and SNA are much better and closer.

Nahhh. LAX is really easy for the traveler to navigate both in and out, IMO. SNA is meh, and I've hit nasty traffic trying to get back there. LGB is tiny and I've never found a good price into or out of there. Cool airport, though. We returned a rental there and went inside to use their restroom LOL.

For my upcoming trip, I'm flying into and out of LAX. I had looked at flying into and out of SNA (as I had done this on my last trip a few years ago), but it was much more expensive for me to do so.

I'm resigned to the fact that I'll probably be limited to LAX for future trips, given that I'm flying internationally. Pretty much the only airlines that fly between where I am and SNA are United and Delta, whereas many other airlines will fly between where I am and LAX...

As someone who is used to WDW though I am seriously missing the Magical Express for my upcoming trip!

I like LAX.

I'll probably rent a car next time to drive from the airport to Anaheim for convenience and price.

We generally fly into LAX because tickets cost fewer points and we almost always fly using Delta points. I’m not a fan of shared shuttles/busses so not having that option doesn’t matter to me.

Imagine the logistical nightmare with late shuttles from them always being stuck in unpredictable insane traffic. MCO is the main airport ppl use for Disney World & it’s a quick half an hour ride to the resort. LAX is one of 3 (or 4) airports used and most ppl do prefer/choose SNA over LAX for its proximity to the resort. Do you imagine all 4 airports running magical express or just your preferred airport? How would they cope with round trip drives taking anywhere from 1-4 hours depending on terrible LA traffic and how far LAX is from the actual resort? (Plus 90% of guests visiting Disney World are from overseas or at least out of town, at Disneyland it’s more like 90% of guests are local or local enough that they still drive vs flying to visit the parks)
