modify room inside 30 days

can I modify a room I have now if I wait till I'm inside 30 days for holding.

AFAIK, you can modify a room anytime up to the day before checkin. You just have to understand that if the new room costs fewer points, the extra points will go into holding, and using them will be more complicated than if you modify at 31 days or more.

Yes, just as the above poster said, if you end up using less points for your new modified room, those points will go into holding.

Oh wow. I always thought all of your points go into holding and they take 'fresh' points. That makes more sense.
