Why does my wife never get a blue member card sent to her?

We bought DVC in 2018 direct from Disney. For logistical reasons it was originally only in my wife's name, intending to add my name at a later date. She was never sent a welcome letter of any kind, nor did she receive a member card. We requested one via the website a few times, nothing ever showed.

I used the pandemic time to finally get around to adding my name to the title. Got that all done and within about 6 weeks, a nice envelope arrived with my welcome letter and my blue member card. My wife? Still nothing. Is there some reason she never gets one? Eventually I plan on calling and speaking to someone, but I'm just curious if she is just unlucky or what?
 
If she is on the deed she should get one! Blame it on the IT...maybe she'll get one after the 21st upgrade LOL! Try a chat on DVC. I did one earlier and it seems easier to get things done that way...good luck!
 
Eventually I will contact someone, but it just seems so odd that it never arrives. I've double checked the address on her profile, I've filled out the form requesting a new one, multiple times. Nothing.
 

Definitely some sort of glitchy oversight. We got both of ours at the same time (and updated cards since our first originals). Calling someone in person will hopefully get it sorted once and for all. Sounds like the unlucky option from your post ;)

My wife is on direct contract and have asked 3 times to send her the blue card over last 18 months and still have not received.
 
I have requested on the member site a couple of times and have not received one as well. My wife has one. I just keep my electronic one updated. Member lounge is the only place we have been asked to provide it except activating gold AP’s.

I requested one via phone for our daughter (she's on 2 of our contracts), & we received four for my husband (on different days) instead. :rolleyes:
 
In our case, cards came separately from bag/magnets (which came about a month after buying)…

The cards came in large envelope which also contained a ‘welcome home’ certificate printed with our family’s last name.

Our bag/magnets etc. arrived about a week after purchase, cards just on line (as of right now)
 
Got my bag and magnets 2 days after signing. They said blue cards will be out in a few weeks.
