Now Lord knows I am not the best cook in the world, but why is it that I can make a cake for home, or for a family get-together, and it turns out fine, but every single time I make one for work, it turns out bad? Not bad tasting, just really, really ugly. I just made a pineapple upside-down cake, and of course, parts of it stick when I turn it upside-down. I made the same cake 2 weeks ago for Gramma's birthday, and it came out perfect.
Last month I made a German chocolate cake for work, and it looked beautiful, I was so impressed with myself. Then someone pulled out in front of me on the way to work, the cake carrier slid across the floorboard, and the icing fell off the cake.
I think it's a curse.

did you see where Paula made two upside down cakes and stacked them like a layer cake and frosted in between and only the sides with cream cheese icing and then took broken peices of pecans and patted around it. was so pretty
