Why does 20 extra hours make me so happy?

So, we are leaving in just under 2 weeks for our first trip home. As newbies, I still don't have the best grasp on holding/banking/etc. I thought I had 30 points that I need to use before Nov, so I called MS to see if anything rotfl2 was available for the night we check out from BLT at HHI or VB. Of course not. But, there was magically a LV studio open at BLT for that night, so we extended our trip by one day!

Turns out, I didn't have any points I was going to lose (I was actually thinking that my balance did not include points for my upcoming trip, but they were already gone and all my points were bankable) but we decided to add on the night anyway! It's only one night, but it will be nice to compare MK and LV!!!

Enjoy your extra day! We added on a day too...but ours was the day before, we were going to be off site, but decided, it wouldn't be as much fun.

Awesome-totally understand, as for an extra 20 hours-we just returned from BWV last week. From MPLS did a 7AM direct out and a 6PM direct back-just to squeeze 2 extra half days out of it. Price was a little more but soo worth it. Esp with ME-bags just show up in the room while we are at MK the first night-then they take them check out morning and show up at MPLS (and we have our boarding passes ahead of time as well, to enjoy the last day.

FWIW they do tell you on the DVC site if you have points that you need to bank and give you the deadline for banking. I think it is under My Vacation Points so you can double check your calculations. I hardly ever bank points so it is ususally not a problem.
