Why do you have to be 21

b/c they're not allowed to "advertise" to people under legal age.

A better question would be:

How do they know that a person visiting Budwieser's webpage is over 21?

I guess I kinda understand.

But it's just kinda a double standard - why are these disallowed when magazine, TV & subway ads, etc. are fine?

I think it should be the other way around. I mean, you have to go searching for an internet website. But you don't choose the TV commercials that you see. And parents can filter out booze sites, but they can't filter out the booze commercials for their own children. It's nonsensical.

Thanks for the site, Caity. :)

The teenagers at the registers aren't allowed to scan beer, but they can pick it up and bag it and everything else....
