Linda Evans is on Larry King Live and she can barely move her upper lip. Too many collagen injections, I guess.

Why do women do this? It looks horrible.

apparently they think it looks good. I know what you mean, the older Hollywood set is looking very unnatural and scary!!

She probably had botox injections. Botox paralyzes the muscles which will prevent wrinkles.

There was an article on this issue in Glamour this month. It said that full lips are fine, as long as you don't use colligen to achieve them! (Basically saying-stay natural!)

Has anyone seen the A&E show called "Beauty Under The Knife"? (I think that's what it's called). It said the collagen is from animals. It didn't say what animals though.

I watched that her on Larry King too. You can't stop staring at her mouth. Why don't people just want to grow old gracefully? It looks much better.

Speaking of artificial...How about Joan Rivers!!! I think it looks AWFUL! I am proud of my character lines!

LOL!

I don't get it. If they're doing it to look GOOD, why do they accept looking BAD with this process???

Some women just can't face that they're no longer in the spotlight. Not that they aren't wonderful in their own right but they are no longer Jennifer Aniston or Holly Berry. I don't think there is anything wrong with having a little work done to brighten your face or just feel better about yourself. However, too many in Hollywood or taking this to the extreme.

Suzanne Sommers is another "stiff upper lip/face" :p

That's what I love about Dianne Keaton...she IS aging gracefully. :D

Here's your answer, and to me I wouldn't inject myself with it.... (BTW this was taken straight from a plastic surgeons web site)

***EDIT*** this is for botox, let me find collagen

Where does Botox come from?
Botox is a highly purified form of a chemical that is found in nature. This natural chemical is produced by bacteria seen in spoiled foods, and is extraordinarily powerful. First discovered in 1895, it took over fifty years to purify. Doctors were searching for a way to treat the hyperactive muscles around the eyes that cause "wandering eye". By weakening the muscle with the Botox, doctors have been treating children and adults since 1980. After the initial success, physicians transferred this technique to cosmetic problems, and the use of Botox for non-surgical wrinkle treatment was born.

Beats me why they do it.

I thought Joan Rivers was attractive, her face had character...now she's got that 'perpetually surprised' look...not good. I also saw that Marie Osmond had some work done. It was NOT an improvement.

collagen is found in cow and pig hides, hooves, bones, and connective tissue.

Guess what else has collagen that we love??? JELL-O!!!!!!!!
