I know this is a silly question -- but is cosmic rays the outdoor CS restaurant in the middle of tomorrowland?

I almost always go to Pinocchio village haus when I am in MK. I am down to try new places.... but I also hate carrots and the mashed potatoes..

I think they may have some outdoor seating but the majority is indoors and the place is huge!

Ok, now you made me hungry I love that rib/chicken combo at Cosmic Ray's that is what we usually get when we go there

Cosmic Rays--I agree the chicken is tasty, but the kids thought the giant thing in the center was strange and noisy (what IS that anyway?) and the place had a strange smell when we were there---something like old dirty diapers........so they don't wanna go back.
I think CHH is our fav for CS at MK.

Never noticed the smell. I think you all are crazy. Rob is not a fan of CHH. I thought it was fine for chicken tenders tho.

Great pictures of the food, DM. I always get that same meal at Cosmic Rays-great for a CS credit and enough for Rachel and I to share.I have taken her on four trips and she has never had her own CS meal. The fourth kid always gets the leftovers....

Our tumblies were a rumbly at this point. And the nearest place? Cosmic Ray’s!

Yes! I guessed correctly.

But it was pretty crowded there so Rob & I decided to get our food in shifts. I stood in line first and Rob took the kids to find a table. As I was looking at the items, I knew I wanted the roasted chicken. I also noticed that there was the same meal but with a ½ rack of ribs also with it. It cost more and I wondered if that meal was on the DDP. So I asked the CM If the ½ chicken/½ rack of ribs meal was part of the DDP as counter service and she said it was. So, that’s what I got! I got 2 chicken nuggets kids meals and carefully brought it all back to the table. I told Rob about the chicken/ribs and he said he was going to get that too. He was concerned that it wouldn’t be included but I assured him it was.

That's what Lin and I always get too! Lin loves those carrots but couldn't eat them this year due to the meat diet.

The kids, in the meantime, were mad that I only brought 2 meals back. I told them they could share until Daddy brought back the last meal. I was lucky I was able to balance 3 meals plus desserts and drinks back to the table.

Same issues for me. Lin takes the kids to a table and get all the food. It's hard balancing all that stuff.

Rob finally came back with his meal and the last kids meal. All was well. I’m glad that I got the bigger meal. I don’t like cooked carrots, so I didn’t eat them. And I am not a big fan of mashed potatoes, especially with the yucky skins in them. So, I ate meat, and lots of it!

Just like a "man" would do.

The kids all got cookies for their dessert. Rob & I both got the chocolate cake that was heaven! I love frosting and the cake was moist and delicious!

You were doing good until starting wolfing down the carb-porn.

We all walked out satisfied and then tried to decide where to head next ...
