Oh yeah! Now I get it. It just sounded wrong at first...

I found the character breakfast to be very rushed, too. The worse part for us was when Donald DUck snuck up behind Stitch, who was 11 months old at the time. Scared the (*&^(*&%(^&*% out of him---literally, if you get my drift. I am the same way as you with breakfast food, but SCrooge & Stitch LOVE LOVE LOVE it. We will sometimes make breakfast for dinner they love it so much

Rob loves breakfast. On his days off he makes the kids breakfast. I'm a "here's your cereal or granola bars" type of mom for the mornings. But once in awhile I like having breakfast. I love french toast and I host a Christmas brunch every year for my family.

Oh of COURSE not! I was talking about having our crawfish potatoes AND your salt potatoes. Double potatoes!

Is it just me or is Mickey wearing very high waisted grandpa pants?

Okay on the double potatoes as long as you eat them. I'm not a big potato eater. In fact, I don't even eat salt potatoes the way they're supposed to be eaten. I don't like butter all over them. Mickey's high waist? Yup, I noticed that fer sure!

We noticed the oddly high-waist pants on Mickey when we went. It's definitely not just you!

DM, I like breakfast and found the food there to be terrific, if anyone's interested in a breakfast-lover's opinion...

I'm glad that someone could give a good food review on this place. I felt bad for anyone expecting a good one from me - the non-breakfast person!!

No, you're not missing much. There are plenty of character meals that are much better. And if you don't care about breakfast, then that's good. Get to AK earlier!!!!! on the DISSSSSS.

Sorry Scott about the lime color on that update. I tried to use the LIME for whenever I had a DIS meet because that's the official color of the DISboards. There will only be one more lime green after that one.

That was one of our least favorite breakfasts.

I think we will just get to the park early next time and not bother with breakfast. The only other character breakfast that we did, but not this time, was Cape May and we liked that one.

Sorry about the green too! As I said to Scott, I tried to use the lime color for whenever I had a DIS meet. Don't worry, there will only be 1 more short one with green in it. Too bad about the character interaction at Donald's. I would have liked more time spent than "quick take your pictures and go". But it was fun - once.

I'm a Disssser too....tried to convert but fell back into my old ways.

Well at least you got to see all the characters..I was reading another tr and the characters didnt show up for 20-25 min! Everyone was done eating and ready to leave by then. I would have been mad if that were me. I love the pic of all the kids and characters...even blinky Brookie! So cute! Thats great that you and Laura got to eat and chat together!!!

Mickey showed up last and we were done with our meal. But none of had too much anyway. It was good timing. Glad we had the 8 am ADR! Kids love the characters so that is the absolutely best way to meet them!

I take that back about a Canadian knowing how to pronounce the DIS, but then again, you are kinda Canadian and kinda a States-er. WhatEVER! It is fun meeting up withe fellow DISers. We all got to know each other for months before we went so we had plenty of time to set up meets.

Great update! Loved the pics of the kids - all so cute! We used to eat at Donald's every trip, but the last couple times it just got worse than the time before - food just OK & characters very rushed. We haven't been back on our last 2-3 trips & don't miss it at all. Looks like the kids enjoyed it though!

Oh & Congrats to Brookie on getting out of those pull-ups!!

We're still glad we went to Donald's at least once. I'm so glad you're enjoying my TR. I really am so honored that all these people are reading it! Brookie is doing so well now and I am so totally pysched that she is finally trained!!!!

Just had a chance to read the last few installments - excellent as always!

I remember that rain storm. Antonia and I ran all the way from Tusker House to Dinosaur in that rain! We had ponchos but, needless to say, we were still pretty darn wet. It was fun, though.

Yes - we rode Tower of Terror with Laura and her family and Courtney & Ryan, and then we caught up with Laura at the "Off Kilter" show. I wish we all would have had more time to have a big lunch or dinner together!

I didn't realize til I read it here that there was such a debate over DIS or DIZ. I never really thought about it and always assumed it was DIS until I read somewhere else, awhile back, that is was correct to say DIZ. That was news to me. Now you would think based on my name that it's always been DIZ to me, but you would be so wrong! I picked that name, like 10 years ago, to sell a few things on Ebay and I purposely missed spelled Dizney so as not to get in any trouble with the Big Cheese. I like the name, so now I use it alot.
When I read that it was supposed to be DIZ I changed the way I said it-now I don't know what to do-DIZ or DIS, what's a girl to do!
