Thank goodness the drink survived, what a tragedy that would have been if it was lost.

That dusty lamp is disgusting. I can't believe they allow it to get that bad. It is not even located in an out of the way place that might get forgotten about, it is right there at the table! I hope you complained.

Those appetizers looked yummy. We sat outside, so there was not a lamp to get dusty. Sorry about that, but I again will say that it was one of the best meals we had all summer, let alone at WDW...

Anyway, fun pictures! Hope the Fair was fun. Sorry, gotta do it again:

Your Citrus mist looks yummy !!!! Hitting the lamp after a second drink is something that I would do. I can't get over the dust. I mean seriously that should be clean considering it is on the table !!! Anyways I am not crazy about scallops but that looked really good !!!!

Note to self: Stay away from Raglan Road lamps. Ewwww, that's just gross.

Still the food is awesome there and I love it.

Okay, Raglan Road is definitely a must do - told DH that if we get in early enough the first night of the trip we're going there (we're pretty booked up the rest of the week). I'm definitely getting the scallops- and the citrus mist. I'm such a lemming. SO glad you saved the drink! Have a wonderful day!

Raglan Road Appetizers


Hopes:
1. More PhotoPass pictures taken...
2. Rob, Evan & Alec have a great boys day...

5. A meeting with the Dream Team

Wants:
1. A good lunch at Cinderella’s Royal Table...
2. Have a good short rest at the resort in the afternoon...
3. A good dinner at Raglan Road in DownTown Disney with the whole family...

You know what? I can’t even remember what type of appetizer the boys got. I have no
stinking idea and I don’t have any pictures of it. I'm thinking that they didn't even get one
but whatever. Rob & I chose the exact same appetizer. We chose the pan-seared Georges
Bank scallops served on creamed sweet corn and garnished with a candied lemon salad.

Let me tell you, both Rob & I licked our plates clean. This was the best scallops appetizer we
have ever had.

Meanwhile, the boys wanted me to take some pictures of them so I obliged...Here’s Evan!

Well, close enough...

So, I sucked down my Citrus Mist. I mean, I took my time sipping my cocktail within 15
minutes and .... ordered another $9.50 Citrus Mist!

And Rob ordered another draft. We figured, what the hay! We’re on vacation!!

I moved my Citrus Mist to the right of my place setting. Now, here is where that green lamp
comes into play. The next time I went for a sip of my cocktail, I raised the glass and WHAM!
It hit the underneath of the lamp. I looked at the lamp and saw this...

Totally cracked it. I checked my drink to make sure it was okay, which it was. Whew! Saved
that one!!! So, we ignored the lamp the rest of the night and I kept my drink on my left side.
Do you see all that dust? I did not notice that before the crack but it is definitely dust as you
can see the finger "swipes" in it. Ew.

Ahh...time for our main courses....next time.

I was thinking about going their OOP our first night when I saw the scallops...then I saw the dust and it turned me off.

No, I did not complain about the dust. I'll explain in a separate post as a lot of people are asking about that.

well thank god the Citrus Mist did not get damaged, who cares about a dusty lamp. and the dust is disgusting. Nothing like having that by your food. Maybe I will rethink my reservation. The scallops looked delicious.
