Yep--someone stole my rotisserie chicken this way. They usually call the numbers over by the number switcher and she was stalking the birds. Not wanting my number to be skipped--I go closer to the switcher thingy--only for a deli employee (a special one) to just randomly decide to help the bird stalker.
I later spoke with the Deli Manager who misunderstood my complaint about the slow deli. I said no--you have a procedure and your employee chose not to follow it. She asked who it was and I showed her and she wasn't surprised. Needless to say at 6pm on a weekday, I got the brush off
.
And the bird thief was a complete witch about it, too!
