hi all,
so we sitting at the fire house the other night and one of the very liked rookies walks into work,about 25 mins before his start time even after we all told the 3 news guys to always come in at least 2 hours early.so anyway he ranting and raving,he's got our new fire house solgan,patch.umm bad news there rook we already have a fire house patch.so i need a laugh so show me.very nice,but where in the pratice of saving lives and rescues,with this new patch i could easily see a child pooping his pants if he saw that in the dark and being terrified of us.well anyway i have to say its overkill.here have a look for yourself.










he wants the solgan on top of the image,we fight what you fear and FDNY arch enemy of the reaper.like i said its a little too much for me.

yes,i agree i was'nt trying to knock him or anything.i just think its cute,so gung ho-good for him.i just pictured a seach in a dark house and a child seeing the patch and freaking out.i told him it was a good idea but a little to much.

That patch is a little scary. I think if my dad walked in the house with that thing on his gear or whatever, I would go talk to Chief and see what he was thinking. LOL.

and I have to give a "shout out" to the fireman and "the" sheriff who saved me in 1997!! I just moved from Gainesville to Brandon (all Florida) wasn't there 2 weeks and the idiot below me (pyro) set his place on fire. The sheriff broke down my door between 2-3 am....luckily I had enough sense to grab my purse....although I had almost no clothes on! I lost everything except my laundry basket in my car!!
