Why do rates bump up 2/26-3/11?

I've seen several specials lately that exclude these dates. Do you know why?

We are planning to go 2/26-3/2. But, if there is a big event that will draw heavy crowds, I'd like to know.

Easter is 4/24, then Spring Break

UCF has spring break March 7th, maybe some of the other S. FL schools begin their spring breaks that early.

A lot of Florida Public Schools have their spring break the first week of March.

Mardi GRAS is march 8th this year but we usually can get discounts at that time. Hope it's not crowded lots of friends are going.

A lot of the northeastern states have winter break starting in mid-february.

If Im not mistaken part of those dates also include the princess half marathon, which I just read has a record # of people participating.
