Say yes to something, even thought I want to say no?
It drives me crazy!
I have to stop.
for example:
My neighbor wants me to help her sell something on ebay, I don't want to. But do I say no, no.
If you don't want to do something do you say no, or do you say yes, then regret it, and try to find a reason to get out of it?
What can I say to my friend, to get out of this, without hurting her feelings?

I usually say yes. I have a tough time saying no to people. It drives my DH nuts. If I want to do something, go to a particular restuarant for example, but someone suggests something else, I never speak up and make my suggestion. I just make DH take me to it the next night

My DH set up a catagory in Quicken called UTSN. Unable to say no. It's where all the expenses get catagorized from my inability to say no to those charities that call needing money for firefighter's widows, children with leukemia, and reasearch to prevent heart disease. I know they are all good causes...and I can't say no to them. But I also can't say no to the "try it free in your home for 30 days and if you aren't satisfied you can send it back at no charge" type thing, and I ALWAYS forgot to send it back or lost the label to send it back with, and thus we buy something I never wanted in the first place. Shame on me!

Now we have caller ID and I don't answer the phone unless I know who it is. Dh says it pays for itself many times over.
