I can't answer why you do it but me, once in ablue moon I hit send, I don't think it went through and hit it again so I have to go back and delete the double post. I think that's what I do, hope you figure out with you and if you do let me know, maybe I am not doing it that way.

It might be something to do with slower response on dial-up. Also sometimes it takes so long for the screen to come back even on DSL it's tempting to hit the button again. If I open another screen my post will be there long before my screen with the post says it is.
