I think it is easier for the person who is breaking up with the other person because then they wont have to see their faces or hear their realy emotions. I would feel horrible if i dumped someone online, i mean because it is just the easy way outta things.

well, I personally looked into my ex's eyes and broke up with her.

Some people can't face the other and tell them that it's over. It's a lot easier to write words when you don't see their faces. If you can't see them, you are distancing yourself away. Or, they know that it must be done but if they see the person, they can't bring themselves to do it.
