I live in Wisconsin, I sure wished I lived in Florida.
I'm not trying to be mean here, but why do Florida residents get better discounts at WDW, and now I just saw they can get better rates on a Disney Cruise. I know there has to be a reason that Florida residents get these discounts. I suppose the tourist season knows when it maybe a slow time, and they depend on the people that live in the state to visit the parks or take a cruise.
About the only free thing to do, or discounted days, is once a year when they allow you to go to a State Park for free, or go fishing without a license I think that is a Sunday in May.
Otherwise our tourist area's make you pay full rate for everything, there is never a Wisconsinite discount on anything.

Really though I think they offer us deals to bring us in during the low seasons as we are closer and might be willing to take a long weekend if the price is right.
