Our Pooch hates water period!
Bath time is ok, once he's in the bath. But.............mention the word bath & he's nowhere to be seen, off hiding somewhere.
I bath him in the bath tub in warm water & although he fights to get in there, once in & is all wet, he's ok.
Once out, he tears around the house from room to room shaking & rubbing himself
It's very entertaining I must say.
Oh & he always gets a treat after his bath for being a good boy while he gets washed.
In our recent heat wave, I popped him a bath of cold water & just kept pouring jugfulls of cold water over him to cool him down, for some unkown reason there was no battle at bath time for once. Maybe he knew it was cold water & he was looking forward to it
But he hates the hose........makes a quick escape indoors if he's outside & the hose goes on. If it's raining he won't go out to the toilet as the ground is wet
When he does eventually go out, it's like watching a ballerina, tip toeing through the wet grass to go to the toilet So funny
