using a freshly cleaned litter even if they just went before you cleaned it???

Tinkberbell tries to jump in the litterbox before I am even finished putting the litter in. This morning she jumped in and squatted and I was yelling 'I'm not ready for you to do that!!!! Can't you wait until I'm finished'

Both of my cats do this too. Usually one of them will jump in before we can even get the lid back on the litter box!

Our kitty does the same thing, and it really annoys my fiance- which I think is very funny! :rotfl2:

Deja does this too and sometimes it can be annoying! Cats!!! Can live with them and cant live w/out them.

My cats go in and move the litter around. I guess I don't know how to pour it in correctly.

Thank goodness my cats aren't the only ones.

Fergie: Be happy all they do is move it around. Mine insist of throwing the clean litter out of the box!

I don't have a cat, but our dog does pretty much the same thing. Even if she's just gone, she always poops when we scoop the back yard!

Count my Lilly in the club. She has to "christen" her box immediately after it is scooped or the litter is changed.

I think she is "marking" her box, which is silly because she is our only cat and the dog isn't allowed in the basement where her box is.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
This happened to me literally 2 minutes ago. I just went through the house cleaning the litter boxes and of course as soon as I wash my hands I hear the sound of scratching litter :confused3 . I think they just like to mess with me to prove that they are boss!

Twigg does the same thing. It's a wonder he's not crossing his legs while I change it. He acts like he can't wait.

If she doesn't do her business she jumps in there like she is attacking it or something with the crazed look in her eyes. :confused3

Why can't she let me have a bathroom that doesn't smell like a cat box for just five minutes :confused3 Why?

Our cat, Jitters, does this to my DH as soon as he scoops it EVERY TIME! Drives my DH nuts and makes him furious. It's pretty funny. I think Jitters just does it to annoy him. :teeth:

We had family friends who had two siamese cats who would NOT be the first to use the box. One would jump in and pretend to do her business, and then jump out, the other would go in and check, and also act like they were going, but wouldn't. Such strange behaviour for cats!

Here I thought my cats were horrible creatures for doing this but from the looks of it it is just a "cat thing" my three cats are not alone.

Is very LAZY when it comes to her box. :rolleyes1 I usually have to "cover up" her stuff myself! :confused3 She will scratch the wall, rather than the litter. :rotfl:

Thanks for reminding me, I needed to clean out my litter boxes.

LOL! My girls sit and watch me change the litter with their full attention, their eyes wide with excitement!

If someone cleans my toilet, I don't go running to use the bathroom with excitement, but maybe I should, LOL.

My cat once pooped on the floor right next to me AS I was changing the litter! EWWW.
